VORN Bioenergy launches VORN Bioenergy Italia

VORN Bioenergy GmbH, a leading project developer and biomethane producer, is pleased to announce the launch of VORN Bioenergy Italia srl (VORN Bioenergy Italia). This follows VORN’s acquisition and full integration of Alvus srl (Alvus), a Bolzano-based project developer in the biomethane and biogas sector, in October 2023.

As Italy transitions towards greener energy production, biomethane is expected to play a key role in the national energy strategy in the coming years. With VORN’s proven expertise and robust project pipeline in Italy, including more than 10 biomethane projects, the company is well-positioned to support this transition and to seize the opportunities with its new local operating entity VORN Bioenergy Italia.
